StratCraft Launches Season 2 of Biomedical Frontiers: Stories with Innovators in Healthcare Podcast in Collaboration with UVA’s Coulter Center

Jacksonville, FL (September 4th, 2024) — StratCraft, a leader in strategic consulting for life-sciences and defense innovation, is proud to announce the highly anticipated launch of Season 2 of the Biomedical Frontiers: Stories with Innovators in Healthcare podcast. The podcast is directed and hosted by StratCraft's CEO, Dasha Tyshlek and is produced for the Wallace H. Coulter Center for Translational Research at University of Virginia. Podcast interviews and content benefit doctors, biomedical engineers and patients who want to learn about the latest and most promising research and innovation.


In Season 2, Biomedical Frontiers explores cutting-edge medical research and innovative healthcare solutions that address today’s most pressing health challenges. The first episode of the new season kicked off with discussions about the impact of protein design and manufacturing on global health and environmental challenges and new research on neurocognition at the Wu Tsai Institute at Yale, with Tom Skalak, PhD. New episodes are released every month.

“Our discussions delve into the heart of these projects, exploring the potential to reshape medicine and patient care. We are spotlighting how the deliberate practice of translational research brings forward new solutions to healthcare problems" shares Dasha Tyshlek, host of the show.

Season 1 featured leading voices in biomedicine, showcasing pioneering research and visionary perspectives. The guests featured last season include Dr. Nathan Price, Chief Science Officer of Thorne Health Tech; Dr. Natasha Sheybani, a trailblazer in Focused Ultrasound Immunotherapy and a Forbes 30 under 30 honoree in Science; and Dr. Jennifer West, Dean of the School of Engineering at University of Virginia and a distinguished member of multiple national academies.


The new season features experts in the fields of biotechnology, protein synthesis, and regenerative medicine, such as Dr. Tom Skalak, Senior Advisor to the Joe and Clara Tsai Foundation and Vice President for Research Emeritus at UVA and Dr. Shayn Peirce-Cottler, a top expert in micro-vessels who's research is shining the light on the relationship between Diabetes and Alzheimer's disease.


Biomedical Frontiers reflects the Coulter Center's mission to advance translational research. Dasha Tyshlek, CEO and Chief Strategy Officer of StratCraft, was chosen to direct and host the podcast due to her extensive experience in public relations and marketing medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
